Magic Moments – 17/5/2015

The best way I can sum up this weeks Week at a Glance is “a right mixed bag”.  Here’s why….. I got a taster of the Terrible Two’s this week.  I let him walk around the zoo – with the ulterior motive of tiring him out so I could finish a cup of coffee whilst it was still hot and eat a cake without having to share it – but he had to hold my hand.  When he got peckish I handed him his sandwich.  BUT he wanted a bit in both hands.  So like Read on…

Magic Moments – Spain

A different town, a different play park, a different ice cream. The sentence above pretty much sums up the week.  The start of the week saw us embark on our first foreign holiday as a family.  I had taken tips off everyone on how to keep my little cheeky monkey quiet on the flight and approached the trip with a little trepidation.  But I needn’t have worried as he was a superstar.  Needless to say I had EVERYTHING you can imagine to entertain him packed away in my hand luggage – dinosaurs, Read on…

Husband Howlers

My husband is an eloquent man. I have always been in awe of the way he effortlessly puts people at ease with his choice of words and polite manner. But during my pregnancy something very strange has happened to him. It is as if my pregnancy hormones have affected his brain resulting in him saying highly inappropriate things at completely the wrong moments. Here are just a few examples to prove my point…
