Magic Moments – 17/5/2015

The best way I can sum up this weeks Week at a Glance is “a right mixed bag”.  Here’s why….. I got a taster of the Terrible Two’s this week.  I let him walk around the zoo – with the ulterior motive of tiring him out so I could finish a cup of coffee whilst it was still hot and eat a cake without having to share it – but he had to hold my hand.  When he got peckish I handed him his sandwich.  BUT he wanted a bit in both hands.  So like Read on…

The Unspoken List

Like most expectant parents I had read a lot of books before giving birth to my little cheeky monkey. There was sound advice on the day to day essentials of feeding, sleeping, clothing etc that I followed – in hindsight a little too religiously – but there was nothing on how to prepare for the unexpected. I am referring of course to the unpleasant “unspoken” things that become part and parcel of parenting.
