Magic Moments – 07/06/2015

Magic Moments 2015 /

After the sad events of last week, this one was all about spending time with family and sorting out arrangements for my brother-in-laws funeral.   On one of our visits to my sister’s house Harry picked up a family photo pointed to his uncle and clearly said “gone”.  The hairs on the back of your neck stood up.  They say they pick up on these things, don’t they.

Later on in the week I tried making up for lost time with Harry.  Harry has been a little gem and a great distraction over the last few weeks so he Play ground fundeserved a few treats.  So we went to various local parks as well as his usual play barn – his home from home – and he had a play date with some of the friends he met when he was only a few weeks old.  True to form he has been hugging and kissing the girls as well as playing rough and tumble with the boys.  Although he did get this a little mixed up and ended up doing all three with the girls. Luckily they gave back as good as they got.

Climbing Frame TunnelThe photo for this week accurately reflects the mischievous nature of my little boy.  He loves play parks and I think it is so important for kids to run around in the fresh air.  Here he is in a play tunnel underneath a climbing frame.  I was trying to capture him on camera and he was having none of it.  He clearly wasn’t expecting me to get on my hands and knees to peer through the other end.  Gotcha!

Have a great week.

  2. Hope you are ok. Glad you had happy moments this week and that last photo is definitely a great capture- the lengths we go to for a photo! Thank you for joining in with #HappyDaysLinky x

  3. I feel like Harry and Busby would get on well – she loves a bit of rough and tumble play! Children are a fantastic distraction during hard times, but don’t forget to also take some time for yourself otherwise the grief may sneak up on you when you least expect it a few months down the line (speaking from experience).

Thanks for linking up to #TWTWC xxx
