After the sad events of last week, this one was all about spending time with family and sorting out arrangements for my brother-in-laws funeral. On one of our visits to my sister’s house Harry picked up a family photo pointed to his uncle and clearly said “gone”. The hairs on the back of your neck stood up. They say they pick up on these things, don’t they.
Later on in the week I tried making up for lost time with Harry. Harry has been a little gem and a great distraction over the last few weeks so he deserved a few treats. So we went to various local parks as well as his usual play barn – his home from home – and he had a play date with some of the friends he met when he was only a few weeks old. True to form he has been hugging and kissing the girls as well as playing rough and tumble with the boys. Although he did get this a little mixed up and ended up doing all three with the girls. Luckily they gave back as good as they got.
The photo for this week accurately reflects the mischievous nature of my little boy. He loves play parks and I think it is so important for kids to run around in the fresh air. Here he is in a play tunnel underneath a climbing frame. I was trying to capture him on camera and he was having none of it. He clearly wasn’t expecting me to get on my hands and knees to peer through the other end. Gotcha!
Have a great week.
Love
